Q: What are the requirements for renting a self-driven vehicle?
A: For Local Renter: 3 valid IDs (Passport, Company ID, other Professional ID with pictures.
Photocopy of Driver's license, Original copy of proof of billing.
e.g. MERALCO, PLDT, etc...
For Foreign Renter: Passport, Plane ticket, other IDs with pictures, International Driver's permit.
Payments: Advance full payment upon the signing of contract, and an additional Php 10,000.00 refundable deposit.
Q: What if my driver's license is from another country?
A: A driver's license issued from another country can be used. It must be valid for 90 days from the date of their arrival.
Q: What is the minimum age to qualify for rental?
A: At least 23 years old and above.
Q: What if I get a traffic violation while in possession of a self-drive rental vehicle?
A: All traffic fines resulting from a violation of the traffic law during the rental period are at the renter's expense.
Q: Can I reserve a specific make, model, or color of vehicle?
A: We are unable to guarantee a specific make, type, model, or color, however, we do guarantee that the type of the car reserved will be available on the date specified.
Q: What happens if I return the car late?
A: A late return affects the type of rate assigned to the rental. Vehicles returned for less than one hour will not be charged extra. A late return of 5 hours or more will usually be charged for a day's rental.
Q: Can I take the seats out of Avalon's vehicle?
A: No, all seats must remain in the vehicle.
Q: What is the policy for off-road driving?
A: All vehicles are to be operated only on regularly maintained roads. Off-road use is a violation of the rental agreement.
Q: Is there a minimum driving experience?
A: Yes, the authorized driver must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
Q: What happens if there's an accident during the rental period, what will be my participation?
A: The renter must notify the company immediately and must report the accident to the nearest police station and secure a police report.
